Do you want to look beautiful on your wedding day?
Of course you do, all brides do and having the right makeup, together with the right dress and hair are all part of the equation. On your wedding day everyone's attention will be on you, the bride, and your beauty will live on in your photos and video.
The best way to achieve flawless beauty is to start with good skin care and a healthy diet. This will make you glow from the inside, but all girls need a little help to bring out their best features. A professional wedding makeup artist knows how to bring out your best features and hide your flaws.
A lot of time and planning goes into other aspects of your wedding day, and your wedding makeup deserves the same attention. I recommend brides take the time to go through magazines and tear out images of styles they like, and be specific about what you like in the image. Is it the lipstick colour, is it how the eyeliner has been applied, etc. This should all be done before the trial.
The Trial
I suggest organising a trial a minimum 2-3 months before the wedding.
It's a good idea to have your bridesmaids or friends with you for advice and input. Also it would be a good opportunity to discuss the bridemaids makeup as well.
Bring along pictures from magazines that show the look you're after. Also pictures of your dress and the bridesmaid's dresses, fabric swatches, details of the flowers, etc will all help us to determine the most complimentary colours.
Mention any allergies or skin conditions you have to cosmetics.
It's a good idea to have your trial during the day so you can see how your wedding makeup will look in the daylight, and also how it will wear through out the day.
